Question 1

Explains common payment methods, Incoterms options, and MOQ/sample policy to lower the barrier for overseas buyers.

Accepted Answer

We commonly use T/T  . Incoterms available: FOB / CIF / EXW. MOQ is flexible; free samples up to 5 pcs with freight collected.

Question 2

Step-by-step transplanting—bag-in-place, root-ball preservation, air-pruning and hardening-off—highlighting the high survival rate of breathable bags.

Accepted Answer

Cut the bag open or open the bottom, keep the root ball intact, trim air-pruned roots at the edge, water thoroughly, and shade the plant during hardening-off. Breathable bags protect roots, giving a higher survival rate than rigid pots.

Question 3

Recommends a loose, well-draining media mix, with notes on avoiding heavy soil, drainage layers, and acidification for acid-loving crops.

Accepted Answer

Use a loose mix of peat/coco coir + perlite + garden soil; avoid heavy clay that blocks drainage. Add a drainage layer at the bottom of large bags. For acid-loving crops like blueberries, use acidified media (pH 4.5–5.5).

Question 4

Practical seasonal care tips for plants in grow bags during heatwaves and freezing weather, helping buyers reduce loss and improve survival.

Accepted Answer

In summer, water more frequently, provide midday shade, avoid direct bag exposure, and check drainage holes. In winter, cold-hardy species can stay outdoors; tender plants should be moved in or wrapped, and standing water drained to prevent frost cracking.

Question 5

Lists export track record (nearly 100 countries, 8M+ bags) with reference cases in Bulgaria, Middle East, South Korea.

Accepted Answer

HOKBG grow bags are exported to nearly 100 countries, with over 8 million bags shipped cumulatively. Reference cases include 8,000 blueberry grow bags to Bulgaria, desert heat-resistant projects in the Middle East (Kuwait/Saudi Arabia), and long-term European blueberry and maple grower feedback. In 2024 we secured an exclusive agency in South Korea (15×20GP containers/year). Request detailed case data for your evaluation.

Question 6

Explains how breathable fabric triggers air pruning, denser feeder roots, and higher survival rates.

Accepted Answer

Air pruning occurs when roots reach the breathable bag wall and meet air; the root tip dehydrates and stops, prompting the plant to grow more fibrous feeder roots inside the bag instead of circling into a root-bound mass like in plastic pots. The result is denser roots, better uptake, shorter transplant shock, and higher survival. HOKBG woven fabric is breathable and permeable by design for exactly this mechanism.

Question 7

Explains PP recyclability and multi-year reuse value, more sustainable than disposable plastic pots.

Accepted Answer

PP (polypropylene) is recyclable. Compared with disposable plastic pots, HOKBG grow bags are reusable for years, significantly cutting container waste and repeat purchasing. At end of life, dispose of them through local PP recycling. For nurseries, "durable + reusable" is itself a more sustainable container solution.

Question 8

Offers climate-specific solutions (UV-stable, drainage, salt-spray resistant) for desert/tropical/coastal and names supplied markets.

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our bags use UV-stabilized PP woven fabric with climate-specific solutions: desert/high-heat focuses on UV stability and anti-aging; tropical/rainy focuses on breathability and drainage; coastal focuses on salt-spray resistance and wind load. We already supply markets such as the Middle East (Kuwait, Saudi Arabia) and Southeast Asia, and recommend specs by local climate.

Question 9

Gives 3–10 year outdoor service life and cost-per-use amortization, with proper reuse and storage guidance.

Accepted Answer

When structurally sound, HOKBG heavy-duty PP grow bags can be reused for years; outdoor service life is about 3–10 years (shorter in high-UV regions, varying by latitude). Amortized over ~5 years at 1–2 cycles/year, the cost per use is far below disposable plastic pots. Before reuse, inspect sidewalls, bottom, seams, and handles; clean, dry, and store away from direct sun to extend life.

Question 10

Introduces OEM/ODM options and the sampling-to-production flow, with 3–7 day sampling and 15–30 day production lead time.

Accepted Answer

Yes. We offer OEM/ODM: custom size, color, GSM, printed LOGO, handle style, and packaging. Process: requirement confirmation → sampling → sample approval → production → QC → container shipment. Sampling takes about 3–7 days; production lead time is typically 15–30 days after sample approval depending on order volume and season—book early in peak periods.

Question 11

Explains full-container sea shipping (FOB/CIF) and packing density by spec, with exact loading list provided.

Accepted Answer

Bulk orders ship by sea in full containers (20ft/40ft), quoted FOB or CIF depending on the destination port. Loading quantity depends on bag type and folding method—flat-folded PP woven bags pack densely; for example, a 40ft container can hold tens of thousands of small/medium bags (20–60L), while large bags (400L+) decrease by volume and weight. We provide an exact loading list and diagram for your selected specs.

Question 12

Provides a 20L–6000L capacity selection guide by plant/tree type to avoid oversized or undersized bags.

Accepted Answer

Choose by plant species + root development + production period + final selling size. Our capacity ranges from 20L to 6000L: 20–40L for seedlings/herbs; 60–130L for shrubs/fruit trees; 400–1000L for landscape trees, palms, olives; 4000–6000L for large specimen trees. Oversized bags waste media, water, and freight; undersized bags restrict roots. Contact us for a crop-specific recommendation.

Question 13

Lists available credentials and test data (utility model patent, UV/GSM/tensile) and welcomes factory audits and third-party testing.

Accepted Answer

HOKBG holds utility model patents for grow bag designs and can provide key performance data for bulk buyers: UV-aging resistance, fabric GSM (grams per square meter), tensile strength, and seam strength. We exhibit at the Canton Fair annually and our factory is based in Xiangtan, Hunan. Factory audits and third-party testing are welcome—request the reports before ordering.

Question 14

Explains HOKBG's MOQ and free-sample policy (up to 5 pieces, freight collected) to lower trial risk for overseas buyers.

Accepted Answer

HOKBG grow bags are quoted per style and capacity. Bulk orders are typically shipped by full container (20ft/40ft); the exact MOQ depends on size and customization—please contact us for a quote. We provide free samples (up to 5 pieces), with freight collected , so you can test fabric strength, breathability, drainage, and handle load in your own nursery before placing a bulk order.

Question 15

Yes. Size, handle length, capacity, LOGO, and label are all customizable — bag color is fixed at standard black. Send us your idea and we will reply with a layout sketch and a quotation.

Accepted Answer

Yes. Size, handle length, capacity (gallon), printed LOGO, and label / tag are all customizable. Bag color is standard black only — we do not currently offer other color options. For OEM buyers and nurseries buying under their own brand, we regularly print customer LOGOs and add custom labels to the bag. Just tell us what you have in mind and we will send a layout sketch and a quotation.

Question 16

UV-stabilized polypropylene keeps our grow bags serviceable across multiple growing seasons outdoors, with expected lifespan depending on local UV intensity and handling — we share specifics based on your location and crop.

Accepted Answer

Yes. We add UV stabilizer to the polypropylene material so the bags can stand up to direct sunlight season after season. Under typical nursery use — outdoor sun, normal watering, and standard growing cycles — our bags are designed to last multiple growing seasons. The exact lifespan depends on latitude and region — closer to the equator means stronger and more direct UV, while higher-latitude and temperate climates are gentler on the material — and also on how the bags are handled between cycles. We are happy to share expected service life based on your specific location and crop.

Question 17

White deposits on HOKBG planting bags are harmless mineral salt buildup, proving the bag is effectively draining excess salts away from your plant's root zone.

Accepted Answer

That's mineral salt buildup — and it's a good sign!As water and fertilizer pass through the breathable bag fabric, dissolved salts (calcium, magnesium, etc.) are left behind when moisture evaporates. This means your HOKBG Grow bag is working properly — draining excess water and carrying salts away from the root zone, preventing salt stress on your plants. In traditional plastic pots, these salts stay trapped in the soil, harming roots. With HOKBG, they're drawn outward, keeping roots healthy.

Question 18

strong handles suitable for machinery operate

Accepted Answer

Handles for direct machine operation require special customization. Please inform our sales manager when placing your order.

Question 19

roots will go out of the bag if the bag touch the ground directly.

Accepted Answer

If placed HOKBG Grow Bags directly on soil: Fine roots may grow through the bottom, but the main root will not.If placed HOKBG Grow Bags on plastic film or a hard surface: No roots will grow through.

Question 20

Grow bag with UV protection, it can last for long time, normally 3-10 years depends on the different latitude.

Accepted Answer

3–10 years, depending on the latitude and altitude of your location. Please contact our sales manager for a more specific estimate.

Question 21

Excellent water and air permeability promotes better plant growth.

Accepted Answer

Yes, HOKBG grow bags offer excellent water permeability. Our grow bag has a mesh structure, so it is permeable to both air and water. For large-scale planting, we recommend using drip irrigation or other automatic watering systems for best results.
